Green Gloucestershire

The Diocese of Gloucester and Churches Together in Gloucestershire have provided some funding for a new website containing lots of helpful resources, such as:

  • managing your churchyard
  • switching to Ecotricity
  • energy saving tips in church buildings
  • flooding
  • suppliers of locally grown food and drink
  • joint core strategy (housing)
  • connecting with nature
  • analysis of consumerism
  • trench arches (when rural churches need toilets)
  • worship in the agricultural year

The new website also has announcements about local environmental meetings as well as archives of past presentations which could be very useful.

Rev Arthur Champion, Diocese of Gloucester Environment Officer, was interviewed about the Carbon Fast on BBC local radio.
