A number of the Dioceses are currently trialling a ground mounted solar panel.
These are suitable for roofs without much sunlight, listed or thatched buildings, or for clergy and others who are likely to move frequently. The electricity produced will not attract the government’s Feed-in Tariff and will not be exported; the financial savings come from using the electricity in your building.
