PVs at St John’s, Wimborne

The panels were installed in July 2012.

Feed In Tariffs earned by March 2014 were £1055.14 against expenditure of just under £8,000, so after 19 months (including 2 winters) have recovered over 13%. Hence payback is probably 8-10 years at current prices and excluding the benefit of the ‘free’ electricity. But in reality full payback will be more like 6-8 years without using a discounted cash flow.
