Gloucester pilgrimage for climate change awareness

A family-friendly pilgrimage for climate change awareness
Gloucester Cathedral to Robinswood Hill
Saturday 21 November 2015
10.45am – 2pm

This Greener Gloucestershire Walk is a 2 mile walk from Gloucester Cathedral to Robinswood Hill Country Park, taking in local green spaces. It is suitable for all ages and children will be able to construct a nature point of interest dataset along the route. With climate change talks in Paris due in early December, we are taking some time out to enjoy the Autumnal outdoors and celebrate all that we value and seek to protect. The walk aims to raise awareness of how climate change could affect Gloucestershire whilst enjoying an autumnal adventure in local green spaces. At the cathedral there will be stands from local groups with useful tips on how you can do your bit. There will be an opportunity for a guided wildlife walk to the top of Robinswood Hill, where you can enjoy spectacular views.
